One Delta, One Mission, One Financial Compliance
Sorors, we are One Delta, One Mission, and we issue One Financial Statement. With this, there is an inherent fiduciary responsibility and accountability that all sorors share. As a member of the National Finance Committee, it would be my duty to review the current guidance for opportunities to transform while never losing sight of appropriate checks and balances. I will help our region's chapters navigate their questions and concerns about our financial obligations, supporting all chapters - large and small, alumnae and collegiate alike. We will create an environment where sorors are confident that our finances are resilient, while we work on transformation that is sustainable.
In Delta, we have over a thousand separate audits that must be submitted timely and accurately such that the headquarters team can provide assurance of the financial accuracy of Delta's financial statements to those who would want to see our service excellence silenced. Sorors, this is what we do in my agency at the federal level every year - collect financial reports from hundreds of agencies and third party audits from various programs to complete the consolidated financial report of the US Government. I know how to support multiple teams to help them stay compliant and meet the financial goals. I provide the education and tools to stay focused as new expectations arise and policies change. I also understand that payment and collections tools continue to evolve, and it is important to stay open to evaluate each new option for its safety, security and appropriateness for our sisterhood. I am rooted in financial tools, innovations and compliance and will use my expertise to help every soror, every chapter succeed as ONE DELTA, ONE MISSION, achieving ONE FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE!
